Hello, my name is Eric. I live in Wilmington, North Carolina USA. My interests include: Amateur radio, International travel, Photography, Writing Childrens material, Computers, and Learning about different countries and their cultures. Much of my life has been spent searching for something I just recently found Contentment in myself that I am here for a reason to do a specific task in life. I have been very fortunate in my life to have very good friends and family and I have come to realize that happiness is something that everyone can find.
Photography is one of my life long passions, I enjoy trying to capture important moments in life and my favorite subject is people. I continue to find people very interesting in how they act and relate with each other. I have been very fortunate to have been able to photograph people in several different countries. I do hope that you enjoy my photos contained in my photography page, I also enjoy collecting and trading photographs.
Amateur radio is a very important part in my life, It's more than a hobby to me, It's a way of life. Someone once asked me what HAM radio operator meant and I replied that it meant "Helping All Mankind". Yes my hobby has changed quite a bit but the old valuesare still there with people helping people. Making friends and being able to talk to people all over the world is the fun part but amateur radio's most important role is emergency communications.
My interest in HAM radio started when I was in high school and has continued through to this day and will always be part of my life. Travel has also been one of my priorities. There is nothing that can substitute the expierience of going somewhere and being there.
One of my favorite places to go is Australia and New Zealand, I will be going there in Feb. 98. I have some very good friends down there as well as some new net friends that I will visit. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas for my trip.
My last interest I will describe is my childrens science fiction book that I have been trying to write. It's written for ages 9-12 year olds. I have been writing this book for several years and do hope to get it finished shortly. If you have any ideas or drawingsthat you would like to send me, I would really appreciate it. This gives you an idea of who I am and what I hope to accomplish with my life. I would like hearing from you.
